Problem Gambling Program

The ZION Integrated Behavioral Health Services Problem Gambling Treatment Program provides assessments, educational skill building, and outpatient treatment for individuals and families seeking assistance for problem gambling and gambling addictions.

The Problem Gambling Program is a service for individuals and their families who have experienced problems with compulsive gambling. ZION offers gambling treatment, prevention and recovery support services in Adair, Cass, Dallas, Fremont, Montgomery, and Page Counties in Iowa. Each situation is unique and deserves individual attention. To ensure appropriate and effective services, we provide a thorough evaluation of everyone requesting our services. Counseling sessions are designed to meet the specific needs of each client. The frequency and number of sessions are determined on a case-by-case basis, and may include individual, group, and/or family sessions.

A crisis hotline is available 24/7. Call 1-800-BETS OFF.

Distance treatment services are available for those who qualify. This service allows individuals to participate in gambling treatment services from a remote location. It is important for family members and concerned persons to be involved in treatment and receive adequate support during and after the treatment process. Assistance to concerned persons is available, even if the problem gambler is not involved in treatment.
